BTR Defense Strategies LLC (“BTR” or “we”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what information we collect through btrdefense.com and how we use it.

Information we collect

Information you send us. When you submit our contact form, email us or call us, we receive what you choose to provide – typically your name, email address, phone number, organization and message.

Information collected automatically. Our website host, Squarespace, records standard technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring site and pages viewed. The site also uses Squarespace analytics cookies that count visits and show us how the site is used. It does not use advertising cookies.

Spam protection. Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Please do not send classified, export-controlled or other sensitive technical information through this website or by unencrypted email.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to inquiries, evaluate and manage potential business relationships, operate and secure the site and meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including export-control and sanctions compliance screening.

How we share it

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that host our website and run our email and phone systems (currently Squarespace and Google), with our professional advisers and where required by law or by a government authority with jurisdiction.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records – generally no longer than two years where no relationship follows – and for longer where U.S. law requires us to keep records.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing info@btrdefense.com. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you may also have the right to object to or restrict our use of your information and to complain to your data protection authority. We use your information on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and running our business and, where applicable, our legal obligations. Our systems are in the United States, so your information will be processed there.

Tracking

We do not track visitors across other websites and the site does not respond to browser “do not track” signals. Other than Google reCAPTCHA on our contact form, no third party collects information about your online activity through this site.

Changes

We may update this notice. The current version and its effective date will always appear on this page.
